Dear Friends, Family and Kind Supporters

My name is Helen Gianella and I’m reaching out to you on behalf of my dear friend, Chad Schmader. He is one of the best people I know. I am devastated to share that Chad is facing a life-threatening health crisis. Recently he was diagnosed with a football sized tumor near his intestines. It’s a Gastro Intestinal Stoma Tumor (GIST). He has been on a rigid chemotherapy regimen to shrink the tumor. The side effects from the medication often cause him to miss work without pay. In January he will undergo surgery to remove the sizeable tumor. This will cause him to miss several weeks of work. The necessary surgical procedure comes with considerable medical expenses that exceed what Chad can manage on his own. Chad is a kind -hearted soul and an amazing baker. His brownies are the best! His infectious smile and unwavering positivity have touched the lives of everyone he encounters. We are rallying together to ask for your generosity and support during this critical time.
