Joy's Medical & Funeral Fund

After her struggle to hold on for loved ones, we are devastated to announce that we lost our sleeping beauty, Joy, on the evening of August 4th.

She was surrounded by her mother, father, sisters and brothers and some of her closest extended family. It was such a precious blessing to be able to spend this last week by her side, it allowed us to express our love and say goodbye. We felt her sweet spirit so strongly and our close-knit family has been brought even closer through this horrible tragedy.

We hope and pray that if anything good can come out of this, that we can somehow prevent another family from going through this pain. Suicide has become an epidemic amongst the youth along with the rise of social media and the glamorization of this horrific act.

Joy was considered to be a best friend to many because of her ability to make others feel loved and accepted instantly. At 15years old, she was far too young to leave us all. We only wish that she had felt the love that everyone had for her and just how special she was.

We have been shocked and amazed by everyone's generosity and love. Joy loved her family deeply and never would have wanted to burden them financially. We are now moving onto the next difficult step of planning a funeral and every donation makes a difference.
