Cycle for Eimear

Donation protected
Last September, Eimear Murray played for Boardsmill in a Ladies Junior Football Championship Final against Donaghmore / Ashbourne. Within a month, her life was turned upside down, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

She immediately began intensive treatment, that necessitated prolonged stays in hospital while undergoing 24 hours a day chemo for five days a week. That treatment continued for many months. There were many other complications during Eimear's treatment that necessitated longer stays in hospital.

Thankfully Eimear is now on the long road to recovery. To help ease the financial burden of having to undergo this treatment we are hoping to raise funds to help Eimear and her family. We will also be donating to the Oncology and Haematology Ward in the Mater Hospital that has helped Eimear so much over the past few months.

So what are we doing; we have several volunteers, ready willing and able to endure the inevitable saddle sores and complete a Static Cycle from Mizen Head to Malin Head on Sunday 2nd May 2021 in three different locations:

Navan Rugby Club, Trim GAA Club & Eimear's home ground, Boardsmill GAA Club.

Updates will be posted on our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Pages closer to and on the day of the event itself.  @BoardsmillGAA

Please donate generously to this amazing cause, if you can, to support our team mate.
