Cycle For The Vicar & JV Half Marathon 2024
Our friend, Josh (Jonathan) Vickery sadly passed away in August 2021 after contracting Meningitis at the young age of 40
Bridgwater Cricket Club are thrilled to announce the latest event to support Meningitis Now in their quest to ensure a brighter future, where no one dies from meningitis and anyone affected gets the support they need to live a happy, full and complete life.
Starting at The Eiffel Tower in Paris. Players & members of Bridgwater Cricket Club will embark on an epic 5 day cycle from Paris back to Bridgwater Cricket Club
They are due to arrive back into Bridgwater on Saturday 21st September and will be accompanied by runners taking part in the JV Half Marathon from Somerset County Cricket Club to Bridgwater.
Please come and join us for a family fun afternoon and evening including Food, Drinks, Live Music and an auction.
We are also hopeful that we will have a representative from Meningitis Now in attendance to highlight the fantastic work that they are doing to raise awareness and to help combat this deadly disease.
