CYCLE SPEEDWAY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, AUSTRALIA 2023
Donation protected
Hi, my name is JJ Wildman, and I am 15 years old from Exeter and I have been riding and competing in Cycle Speedway since the age of 5 years old. I am asking for help to get to Australia to compete in the World Cycle Speedway Finals, 2023.
When I was 12, I won my first British Championship, something I have now won 4 times, as well as also winning a National Championship and 7 Junior League Titles. I am extremely proud to have also been named Captain of the England Cycle Speedway team. As an England rider most recently, we beat the Polish team for the first time in 5 years which made us all very proud to be part of this squad.
I am excited to say that I have been selected to represent England in the GB Junior team at the ICSF World Championships in Adelaide, Australia in November 2023. This will be my second trip travelling to the World Championship in Australia, and I am looking to build on my success!
I have made this GoFundMe page to help support my family and I to help raise money for the travel expenses and costs that come with travelling halfway around the world! This is an amazing opportunity for me to continue to represent my local club, my family and my country in an international event, and is something that I have dreamed of and challenged myself to achieve ever since I started competing over 10 years ago. Any money donated would be a huge help to fund my trip and would be very appreciated, and I am grateful to every person who reads this and is able to support in any way, whether that’s by helping my story reach more people or if you are able to support with any donations, I will be very thankful for every bit of help.
Thank you for your help and support, I look forward to competing with the best in the world and showing everyone what this rider from Exeter can do.
Thanks, JJ.
