Breaking a world record & misconceptions about chemotherapy

Donation protected
I’m on my last cycle of chemotherapy and I’m setting a world record for the longest bicycle ride, while on a chemotherapy cycle.
My route will take me over a thousand miles and 3 weeks and the aims are as follows:
  • I’m doing it to show the world that chemo is not to be feared. You can still live well and extend your life!
  • I also want to raise awareness about brain tumours and their indiscriminate nature, they can effect anyone at any age
  • I hope to inspire other people to be active while going through their own chemo cycles as it helps negate the side effects.
Finally: I may immortalise myself, in the record books, forever. Or I will inspire someone to come and beat it. Either way is a win win for me!

The money raised will be going to Brain Tumour Research Uk and Brainstorm UK. Two charities who are fighting hard to help people with brain tumours, raise awareness, improve treatments and find a cure!
