Cycling for more trees

Scientists from all over the world are ringing the alarm bells! We are facing an ecological crisis. Renewable energy, electric cars, recycling and eco-farming are measures in the right direction, but it is simply not enough to keep our planet green, healthy and pretty!

We, Birgit (from Estonia) and Tobias (from The Netherlands) are cycling from The Netherlands all the way to Estonia. To give purpose to our trip, we are raising money to plant more trees in the countries we cross. By doing that we will be leaving a 'green footprint' behind. You can contribute to make our mission a succes!

Everybody can participate by donating throughout our journey. We will be doing the hard work, cycling about 2400 km and spreading the word in all six countries.

Together we will contribute to neutralizing our CO2 emissions up to 100%. One tree costs about €1,- . By planting one tree you will permanently neutralize ca 0,23% of your lifetime CO2 emissions. By planting 22 trees you will neutralize ca 5% of your CO2 emission. Further it is just easy math: 44 trees = 10%; 110 trees = 25%; 220 = 50% and 440 trees = ca 100% of your lifetime CO2 emissions neutralized! The more trees we will plant per person, the higher the percentage per person.
