Help Make Tulsa's Streets Safer for Cyclists!
Hello everyone! My name is Layla Auld, a passionate Senior at Booker T Washington High School and a dedicated Girl Scout on a mission to create positive change. I'm thrilled to share with you my Gold Award project, an initiative focused on enhancing the safety of cyclists in our community.
Why? Riding bikes with friends and family is a joy we can all share, but the safety of cyclists on city streets is a real concern. That's why I've decided to take action!
The Plan: I'm raising funds to create an impactful billboard that will educate motorists about the laws related to passing cyclists on the road. This not only ensures the safety of cyclists but also promotes a culture of shared road responsibility.
Your Support Matters: Your generous contribution will directly fund the production, and installation of these billboards. Here's the breakdown: each billboard costs appx $3,000. The more we raise, the more billboards we can create, bringing greater attention to this crucial cause. If you would like to make a tax deductible donation I've partnered with a non profit, please reach out to me for further information.
How Can You Help?
Donate: Any amount, big or small, makes a significant impact.
Share: Spread the word by sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues.
Connect: If you have resources or suggestions that can contribute to this cause, reach out!
Together, We Can Make a Difference: Let's create a safer environment for female cyclists and foster a sense of community on Tulsa's roads. Your support matters more than you know!
Thank you for being a part of this journey.
With gratitude, Layla Auld
