Cycling to Support Children Battling Cancer!

Hi!

I'm Yara Chamoun, currently pursuing my MBA at the London Business School.

This month, I'm embarking on a challenging journey: cycling over 300km for three days from the UK to Amsterdam alongside fellow students from LBS. During this journey, I'm aiming to raise funds for the Children Cancer Centre of Lebanon (CCCL).

The CCCL is dedicated to providing the best cancer treatments to children across Lebanon (Lebanese and non-Lebanese) with an average of 500 patients under treatment at any given time, an average cure rate of 80% and a total of 5,000 patients treated to date. The CCCL vows to provide undiscriminated service to all its patients and covers ALL treatment costs.

With Lebanon facing a recent financial crisis, charitable organizations are struggling to secure necessary funds. The center's annual expenses exceed USD 15 million, with treatments costing between USD 40,000 and USD 200,000 per case, underscoring the urgency of our support.

This fundraiser is a tribute to the beloved memory of Laudy Chamoun Gabash, a courageous cancer fighter who always advocated for the cause of children's cancer.
