Cyclone Batsirai Relief for Madagascar
Tax deductible
Friends,
This weekend, tropical cyclone Batsirai swept through central and southern Madagascar, leaving upwards of 50,000 people displaced and causing immense destruction. The cyclone made landfall as a Category 4, bringing intense winds and rain.
Ranomafana was directly hit by the storm, causing landslides, flooding, and the destruction of many buildings and homes. One of the main bridges in town has been swept away in the flooding, isolating many people.
This story is the same across the region, including many remote communities living in the periphery of the Ranomafana National Park.
We are asking you to please join us in giving as our communities are in dire need of emergency support.
Your donations will support Centre ValBio's efforts to provide food, cooking materials and fuel, supplies for shelter repair, and other necessities of daily life desperately needed by the affected communities.
Please share this plea with everyone you know that has ever benefited from the hospitality of the amazing communities around the Ranomafana National Park. They need our help.
