Help with living expenses

Hi, My name is Dolores. To say 2023 was not a good year is an understatement! Those of you who know my husband Jack and I, know the struggles we have went through and continue to go through. In May 2023, I was hospitalized with what they thought was a stroke, however, by the grace of God, it turned out to be Bells Palsy. Unfortunately, this is not going away and seems to have permanent effects, which prevents me from working, Along with cataracts on my eyes and stress only makes the condition worse. In Sept 2023, my husband Jack, had a horrible accident in his Log Truck, He was flown by LifeFlight to ECU Trauma Center. He was so lucky to be alive, His left arm and right leg was terrible with skin torn off. He had a laceration in his tongue, which went completely through, a concussion, broken ribs. He was thrown from his truck, this was an experience I would never want anyone to go through. almost two weeks later, because he is diabetic, his sugar was dangerously high, another hospital stay. He is not able to work and we have applied for his Disability but that takes forever and with neither of us being able to work it has been so rough.

Thank God I have the most amazing children and family, who have supported us so much but my Son is trying to carry the load of our bills and his, I am so proud of the generous person he is but it is so unfair to have him trying to do it all. I am just asking for a little help to pay toward rent and bills until we can get this sorted out and God knows I have always tried to help anyone I can and will continue to do so. If you could find it in your heart to make any donation it would be so greatly appreciated and you will not be forgotten. It is not only hard physically but mentally as well.
