Help Cyndi Geddes' Family

UPDATE (7/11/24): We are hopefully getting closer to getting Cyndi closer to home, but the medical professionals are driving this ship. Marty and family still need help to cover travel expenses/bills during Cyndi's hospitalization in Portland. THANK YOU for supporting Cyndi's family.

UPDATE: Friends, all because of your generosity, Marty has been able to stay with Cyndi during his off days & Cheryl has been able to make multiple trips while Henry has been sick, making it home to take care of our precious Alyssa. But the need continues.

Cyndi is getting more feisty every day and is fighting very hard to recover. We are so thankful for her progress & your help.

Hi everyone,

After losing our son, Jason, in January, our only remaining child, Cynthia Geddes, suffered a brain hemorrhage in February. She underwent successful surgery to stop the bleeding and has been making incremental improvements since. As yet, she is still unable to communicate but has shown her spunk and persevering personality through gestures to her family.

Cyndi has a beautiful family, husband Marty, 8-year-old daughter Alyssa, as well as her grown son, Bryan. Marty is working non-stop to handle the demands from Cyndi's medical condition, spending time with not only Cyndi, but also with Alyssa, who needs her daddy, and at his job, working to keep his family going. He is in desperate need of help.

After spending over 3 weeks in ICU, Cynthia was transferred to Vibra Specialty Hospital in Portland, Oregon, a long-term care facility which is equipped to help patients just like Cyndi recover. Her stay will likely last months. It is the best place for Cyndi, but Portland is 2 hours away from the family's home, Alyssa's school, and Marty's job.

Any help that you can give will contribute to the expenses of travel, lodging while in Portland, and to pay the daily expenses of the family, which at this point are more than a month behind.

Marty & Cyndi are faithful Christians who trust in the Lord and excel in serving others, even amidst their own difficulties. Please help them in their time of need!
