Cynthia the warrior of a woman!

My name is Mary Hart, I am 27 years old. I am the daughter and only child of Jimmy Hart, and Cynthia Hart/Kizerian. My father died from ALS October 6, 2014. Shortly after on November 27, 2014, my mom Cynthia, was diagnosed with stage 3C Ovarian cancer. At that time the doctors told us life expectancy was 8-12 months... Well here we are YEARS LATER and MY MOM IS STILL ALIVE AND FIGHTING FIERCELY! I have done all the in home nursing care for both my father, and mother. I am my moms power of attorney, health proxy, advocate, caregiver, daughter, and best friend. Yes I am doing this all on my own. She’s all I have, and I’m all she has. And I’m so grateful for her, and beyond amazed by the strength she shows everyday. Throughout the years my mom has undergone debulking surgery, many different types of chemotherapy drugs and radiation. August 2019, we found out the cancer had came back and it was in her liver. This is my moms 3rd time having tumors in her liver. This is what they call “3rd reoccurrence.” Since August, my mom has been on 7 different chemotherapy drugs, and 6 radiation treatments. This time it has been difficult to control the tumors. They haven’t responded to 6 chemotherapy drugs, and unfortunately there are big and little tumors all over her liver now, and her cancer antigen marker (CA-125) value has increased significantly more and more the past 4 months. Last month her That being said, 2 weeks ago my mom had a choice to go on hospice, or try another chemotherapy drug. She said “fuck no” to hospice and she wanted the new chemotherapy drug and she’s not done fighting. Her and I have been focusing on her living her living, not dying, and being present everyday. Since we are in living during the time of this pandemic, things have become more difficult. My mom was working full time (while undergoing aggressive chemotherapy) at Macy’s as a personal fashion stylist up until May. I was working full time as a CNA until April. Now that covid doesn’t seem to being going away, and my mom being a person of high risk and me being her caregiver, requires for both of us not to work until covid-19 is under control. With the threat of finical issues coming our way, I am asking for help. At the moment, I am trying to rent a home for my mom, my pups, and I, so we can live together as a family again. Time is precious. And so when it is time for hospice, I am there with her every step of the way. I was told by her oncologist nurse that I needed to start interviewing hospice companies. I am still interviewing but I have made the choice to do all the CNA work, and to only hire an RN when she does go on hospice, because of covid-19, and I want to take care of my mom. That being said, renting a home, living cost, medical bills, food, supplements, hospice cost, end of life costs (cremation, urn, celebration), and coming up with a plan for myself when she is gone is why I made this gofund me page, and am asking for help. I understand everyone is struggling during this time, and if you can’t donate, just sending positive peaceful vibes, and prayers both my mom and I’s way would mean the world.
