Cynthia Harte eviction from Heritage Cove.
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Sue Trowbridge and I am raising funds for Cynthia Harte. Cynthia is 62 years old, physically disabled (in a wheelchair), legally blind and has a seizure disorder. She has lived in her apartment for 22 years. Cynthia has fallen on very difficult times as her mother passed away in November. After her mother passed away, she fell behind on her rent. Cynthia and her Mom needed both of their social security checks to just barely pay rent. She has been unable to pay the full month's rent for December and January. Cynthia went to the bank and took out the money she could which was still $400.00 short. She tried to make a payment that was $400.00 short, but the Heritage Cove apartment complex would not take that cashier's check. The complex then charged her an attorney fee (Heritage Cove's attorney fees, not Cynthia's) of $594.00 as the complex is evicting her.
It is very disheartening that a large apartment complex, Heritage Cove would force/evict a legally blind, physically disabled (in a wheelchair) and has a seizure disorder renter.
The funds will be used to pay her rent, at least through February so she may have some time to figure out where she is going to live.
I will be transferring funds on behalf of Cynthia and will transfer the funds to Heritage Cove and her living expenses.
Thank you all for your kindness and generosity.
