Hi, my name is Matthew Mears, I am making this page for my wife. We have been together since junior year of high school and we got married in 2008, she was told she would never have kids but we got a miracle in August of 2013 when we had our son, For a year everything seemed fine but she was having a lot of pain moving around so I had her go to our pcp and get an mri done, that’s when they found the unthinkable, a tumor in her knee, but unfortunately it didn’t start there, which meant that at 28 years old she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that has moved all over her body. She knew it would be a tough fight and she has fought as long and as hard as she could, it’s almost been 9 years and it’s almost time for her fight to be over. Now with her being down and out I have been the only income coming in and so we were basically living check to check. I went to the funeral home to set up her afterlife care and was meet with a very high cost, of just over $14,000, now I know to some people that’s not a lot of money, but when you’ve been scraping by the past 8 years, we couldn’t really save any money for a funeral or other proceedings, I’m not asking anyone to give if they themselves are struggling, but I know any donation will go straight to her funeral cost and if we get enough her headstone
