Cynthia Lawlor needs our help

Cynthia Lawlor is the main caregiver for her mother and father, both of whom have serious health issues that require lots of attention.
Last month, right after the big snowstorm in December, Cynthia had a nasty fall on her icy, back steps. She lay there in severe pain, unable to get up, in the cold, for over a half hour before a neighbor heard her cries for help.
She was taken in an ambulance to Fatima Hospital where she found out she had broken her shoulder, and had shattered her ankle and would require surgery. They put her on pain medication and a couple of days later, operated on her to repair her ankle. She is now in both an arm sling and a leg cast. Her arm can't be moved and her leg can't bear any weight so she can't do any simple things like make meals for her parents.
Oh, and there’s this thing called a pandemic going on…
Can you imagine?
If anyone ever needed help from her friends, it’s her right now.
We are organizing this special fundraiser for Cynthia because this could happen to you, me or anyone and there would be nothing you could do without the help of others. And that’s where you come in.
If you know Cynthia, you know she is always smiling, encouraging others, and dancing her way into our hearts. Her laugh is infectious and can be heard easily above the music in any crowd. Her hugs are warm and sincere. She has been there consistently for countless other fundraisers and now she needs one for herself.
And now, you are being asked to chip in. The money raised will go towards medical bills, having groceries delivered, and maybe installing a ramp. Everything helps. We have an initial goal of $8000 but obviously with the bill costs still unknown, the more we can do the better.
As a close-knit community, we have always been there for those of us in need. You are getting this, because you are a part of that community; one that supports each other when we are need to. It’s time to do it again.
Spread the word, contribute below, do whatever you can.
For Cynthia.
Because this is what we do when one of us is down.
Thank you.
