Cynthia's Fight Against Bladder Cancer

Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters,

As many of you may know, our beautiful mother, Cindy, has been battling cancer. She was diagnosed with stage 2 high grade invasive bladder cancer this past summer and has undergone chemotherapy for the past few months. The next step will be a radical cystectomy where doctors will remove her bladder, lymph nodes, uterus, and more. Our mom has been a trooper through this all and is ready to take on this major surgery, which will take place in December. However, she could certainly use more financial support. Medical expenses, medications, meals, travel expenses, a week long stay at the hospital after surgery, hotel stays at U of M, and future expenses of having a stoma (a bag in place of her bladder) will be taking a toll. The last thing we want our mom to worry about is her finances and would love to ease that burden.

Our mother fought cancer in 2004 and 2005 by having chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. She had been cancer free for almost 20 years and we know she can do it again. Thank you-every little bit helps. We appreciate it greatly. She is our rock, our everything. We greatly appreciate all the prayers, love, and kind support.
