Help Cyril Jr. Achieve His Dreams

Life can be challenging, and for young people with autism, it can be especially so. Our dear nephew, (son, grandson, and brother) Cyril Jr., has faced numerous obstacles while trying to find employment in a world that often doesn't have the patience to understand the unique challenges he faces as a neurodivergent individual living in a mainstream world. Fortunately, he has recently been granted a life-changing opportunity to overcome these challenges through BroadFutures, a program specifically designed for those with learning disabilities and autism. Their mission is to celebrate neurodiversity, and their vision is to create inclusive workplaces where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive.

Cyril Jr. is an exceptionally bright, kind, and capable young man. His intelligence often goes unnoticed in a world that can sometimes be unkind to those who appear different. Cyril Jr. is the most resilient person I know; he keeps trying and pushing forward, no matter how many times he's pushed back.

We are reaching out to you for your support in sending Cyril Jr. to BroadFutures in D.C., where he can develop the skills he needs to feel safe and succeed in the workplace. We are seeking donations to cover his tuition, as his program begins in January, and we need the funds before the start date. Our goal is to raise $7,000 by December 1st .
