Celebration of Life for Cynthia Stilkey
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I am reaching out to you during this incredibly difficult time as we prepare to say goodbye and celebrate the life my mom lived. At just 45 years old, she was diagnosed with cancer, fought hard, and overcame it; but the toll of her illness brought forth many health challenges that she faced with unwavering strength throughout the years. Sadly, the cancer had returned, and despite her courageous fight, she just couldn’t fight anymore.
For the past 6 years, I have been her primary caregiver, supporting her through numerous health struggles. My mother was on disability, and with limited financial resources and no life insurance, the burden of her medical and funeral expenses has fallen on our family.
We are holding a celebration of life ceremony on November 30th at 1100 Mill Creek Rd, Big Bear Lake, 92315 Big Bear, California, at the very place where she was baptized and dedicated her life to Christ. This location holds deep significance to us, and we want to honor her memory by sharing stories, laughter, and love among family and friends. Please RSVP with me or Anna if you plan to attend as we are only able to accommodate 15 people there.
We are asking for your help to cover the costs of cremation and this special gathering. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us during this challenging time.
Thank you for considering supporting us in this way. We appreciate your kindness, love, and support as we navigate this difficult journey of saying goodbye to her.
With love and gratitude,
Christine
