Help Rachel Heal After Va.X Reaction

Donation protected
Prior to May 28,2021 Rachel was a normal, healthy 17 year old girl. She was excited about graduating HS and starting college at Albany Pharmacology. She had so much going for her and was excited to spread her wings. On May 28, 2021 Rachel went to fulfill her mandated commitment to be able to attend college. She thought she was making the right decision but instead Rachel’s life dramatically changed immediately and her life has not been the same since.

She has suffered a long list of side effects with so much being unknown about these side effects. Within minutes from her initial (P) V , Rachel was unresponsive and convulsing. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where she spent 5 days. At discharge she got the diagnosis of “seizure like activity most likely from the C ov ID *v. Unfortunately she had no answers on what to do or how long this would last when she was discharged. No answers and no help. She spent months with very serious side effects making it so she couldn’t drive or work. Eight months later, she still has life altering neurological side effects. These side effects range from frequent head pressure, ticks, tremors, internal vibrations, numbness and pain in her hands and feet as well as periods of tachycardia. It has been a struggle for Rachel to get her health and her life back.

She has a long road ahead of her with many doctor appointments, tests, and treatments. Through extensive  blood work and tests Rachel is starting to unlock the damage that has been done to her body.

There is hope that some of the damage can be reversed but it is uncertain how long and how much treatment she will need. Majority of the appointments are with specialists and not covered by her insurance. Rachel’s health and well being is the most important thing to her family and they are just happy to be getting some answers but the financial burden is just beginning. The medical bills are adding up after 2 ambulance rides, hospitals, and endless Dr visits out of network with no end in sight.

Despite all these set backs, Rachel stays positive and is courageously fighting to get her health back. She is amazing, but she needs help.

Rachel and her family continue to advocate for CHOICE! Rachel has shared her story with her School Board and her mom has attended several neighboring School board meetings and shared Rachel’s story , advocating for medical freedom and the right to choose for all
of us.

So how can we help Rachel? First and foremost - Prayer!! Pray for strength and healing. Pray that the lord will use these specialists to help heal Rachel’s body. Pray for her family, they just want Rachel to feel better. Pray that the Specialists will be able to use what they learn from Rachel to help others, because even after all this her family wants to do just that - Help others who are injured just like Rachel.

Lets help Rachel so she can focus on healing. Whether it’s with prayers or a small donation if your able. Anything and everything is appreciated beyond words!
