D’ Artagnan Needs Spinal Surgery
Donation protected
This is Lynn and Betty’s oldest kid.
Their sweet baby (now that their kids are grown ) D’ Artagnan woke up a few days ago and was not able to move his hind legs. He is only four years old. He has intervertebral disc disease and needs surgery in order to maintain neurological function. All that to say - he needs a big chunk of calcified disc removed from his spinal cord so that he can hopefully continue walking and functioning like normal. Since he is such a lively and young dog this would be the best outcome. Not doing surgery means he is confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. This surgery is, however, of course very expensive. My parents are so kind, loving and giving that it feels only right to set this up for them so that those who care about them can help them in their time of need. They would not have set this up for themselves- anyone who knows my dad knows he tackles life head on- “make a plan, execute the plan, get it done. Do what you have to do.”
This one time, in the face of a surprising and upsetting event, I want to give him a helping hand.
No gift is too small and anything is very greatly appreciated.
