Jeremy's battle against Leukemia
Donation protected
Jeremy Keckhaver, an 18 year old boy from Racine, WI, was recently diagnosed with leukemia on November 30th. His mother took him to the Emergency Room at around 5am on November 29th after Jeremy had battled being ill for two straight weeks. The doctors at the ER did not know what was wrong with him but because of his low white blood cells they had him trasmitted via an ambulance to Children's Hospital in Wauwatosa. After giving lots of blood and undergoing a bone marrow biopsy the doctors found the leukemia cells and told Jeremy and his family. His parents have taken off of work to spend their days and nights in the hospital supporting Jeremy as he now begins chemotherapy. In which this will be a 3 year process. The first 8 months will be very agressive and difficult to get through. It would be much appreciated if you can help Jeremy and his family through this difficult time in their lives. I will continue to post updates as I receive them from his mother. Thank you.
