Let’s help Lisa get back on her feet!

Hi! I am a friend and former coworker of Lisa Davis! Many of you local pet parents out there may recognize Lisa from her 20 plus years of working in local veterinary offices around Rockland County NY.

Lisa most recently worked at Hi Tor Animal Care Center! In September the contract for Hi Tor was cancelled without warning so Lisa along with the rest of the staff unexpectedly lost their jobs.

Anyone who knows Lisa, knows she is a proud, strong, independent, free spirited woman who has devoted her life to caring for animals! It took some convincing to allow me to post this campaign but Lisa has run into nothing but roadblocks in trying to obtain unemployment or anther job in the animal field. Lisa is not afraid to work. Lisa is one of the hardest working persons out there. She is also the most caring and patient person when it comes to animals, especially shelter animals!

But the universe has not been kind to her, so on top of losing her job, her beloved van broke down and is not repairable. Lisa needs our help! Lisa has gone without food just so she can feed her own dogs. She is behind on her rent and has bills piling up. She was able to purchase a van on credit but needs to start making the payments.

Lisa was hired by another animal shelter but isn’t able to start for another month when her position will be open. Lisa has depleted her saving and is not sure what she is going to do.

Lisa’s situation should not be happening in 2023! Please consider making a small donation to give Lisa the helping hand she needs until her new job starts.
