With a Little Help From My Friends

Update 2024:

It's been a few years and Ive had some great support from a few friends keeping my head above water, but my CC debt keeps growing. Im so greatful for the help Ive recieved, but Im still drowning. Ive moved the goalpost to try to meet where I am now. My debt is at 2.8k, even though I dont use the card or fun. Ive had medical emergencies, car blow ups and vet emergencies, all while struggling with a nasty 28% interest.

Hello internet friends!

I turn 30 on Aug 18th and need a little help staying above water.

Having finally moved out on my own at 29, I am doing my best to keep up but bills keep coming and before I go underwater, I wanted to ask for some help humbly.

Inflation, car troubles and my health, unexpected bills and lost hours have put a strain on me and have made it impossible for me to keep up, despite my best effort.

Currently, I have $600 on my credit card due to unforseen car troubles, I am anticipating a $250 bill for my car loan, 120 on utilitiess, $90 for applying for FMLA, $260 to renew my medical canibis card, plus 25-40 a week for the actual holistic medicine that has been a huge part of treating several conditions of mine. [ Tourettes, Anxiety, PTSD, Depression]

I also have a cat who I need to register as an ESA. I have come a long way battling depression and have worked to the bone to improve my life.

I have a $29 onthly bill to continue paying for the RNY procedure I had done some years ago that has lent to my losing over 100lbs.

My rent is paid for August as of now, but it's left me with very little left for gas, food and other nessesities. I work and am currelty working two jobs- one normal and one freelance. This Sunday, my last grandmother passed away and while I thought my bereavment was paid, it came back to me that it is not and so I also lost another 24 hours of pay.

My goal is 2,500 to handle this months bills and give me some breathing room as I enter my 30s. I'm not trying to party, or make a big purchase, I just need help making ends meet.
