Hi! I’m Jon, the founder of @RealNewsNoBullshit! We are an independent news media organization on Instagram that is ran by a very small team of people from all sides of the political aisle. We pride ourselves on having someone from the left, middle, and right on our team. Our goal is to present the news, without the bullshit….. and let YOU come up with your own opinion!

 

Out of everything we cover it is without a doubt that the Ghislane Maxwell trial has the most public interest out of our audience. In addition, it just so happens that the mainstream media coverage of the Ghislane Maxwell case is not full in-depth coverage.

 

Our team has been actively covering the story for the last 11 months and we have uncovered multiple developments that mainstream media outlets have been silent on. This is concerning because we’re 4 people doing this from our phones and major media outlets have millions of dollars and more resources at their disposal to uncover these critical details left out from the public eye.

 

 

 

 

 

After a public poll on our page asking our audience if they would be willing to fundraise our on the ground coverage of the trial, we have decided to travel to New York City and cover the trial. Our coverage will be in-depth coverage of the entire trial.

 

While the Judge presiding over the case has barred media organizations inside the courtroom, we plan to be posted at two entrances outside the courthouse and will field questions to key players in this trial that the media has not questioned in the last 11 months. This includes questions to Ghislane Maxwells legal team, prosecutors, key witnesses, and the Judge presiding over the case. In addition, we also plan to question media outlets on the ground about the lack of coverage of the trial. All of this will be brought to you on video and posted on our Instagram account @realnewsnobullshit.

 

If given the opportunity, we will go out of our way to get the coverage everyone wants to see…. And give it to you unbiasedly.

 

The trial is estimated to last a total of 6 weeks and we have budgeted out the most economical and realistic way for us to cover the trial. It is cheaper for us to travel home every week versus us incur weekend hotel charges in New York (especially during December, when rates skyrocket in New York). We want to be clear, no one will be making any money off this and we will provide open source accounting on how the money was spent. First update will come December 15th. The second at the conclusion of the trial.

 

Our budget for 6 weeks of coverage is the following:

Flights:

6 separate weeks of flights for 2 reporters.

Week 1 flights: $906.13

Week 2 flights: $846.71

Week 3 flights: $1,206.90

Week 4 flights: $828.03 (1 reporter only)

Week 5 flights: $848.22 (1 reporter only)

Week 6 flights: $1,708.10

Total: $6,344.09 (AVERAGE COST per flight $317.20. All flights will require us to take red eyes so we can be on ground for full day).

 

Hotels (2 different hotels, within short walking distance to Thurgood Marshall Courthouse. Taxes included)

Hotel week 1: $1903.71 (2 rooms AVG $237.96 per night for 4 nights)

Hotel week 2: $2,161.18 (2 rooms AVG $270.14 per night for 4 nights)
