You can make a difference by donating today to the Islamic Center of Chicagoland.
As long-time residents of the North-West side of Chicago, we are writing in support of
the proposed new Muslim house of worship that is seeking community support to build &
renovate. The mosque would be the religious home to some 300 to 500 congregants from the area that
have housed residents for 30 plus years in the Mayfair, Albany Park, North Park, Sauganash, as
well as a three to a five-mile radius in a building located at 4846 North Elston Avenue Chicago
Illinois.
The Islamic Center Of Chicagoland, or ICC, has already approved zoning variances so
members can develop a mosque, school, multipurpose hall, gymnasium and worship-area
expansion. The school has been completed in building A (Aden Center).
ICC's development plans show the first phase began in 2021 and is still in progress of
constructing a one-story masjid. It will provide approximately 1 4,000 square feet of space
for worshippers. Our community's masjid, known as the Islamic Center Of Chicagoland (ICC), has started construction to build a new 14,000 sq. ft. Masjid.
We need your help in order for ICC to continue to provide religious, educational, social and
outreach services with excellence to the community.
The estimated cost of the project, will cost one million dollars to complete. The contractor
(Abo Nael INC) has received four hundred thousand dollars (400,000). The balance remaining
is six hundred thousand dollars (600,000).
Any contribution you can make will go a long way in helping to establish another
beacon of light for Islam in America and leave a positive legacy for our future
generations. May Allah reward you abundantly and multiply your wealth manifold.
