The Georgia Leigh Ogden Foundation

Georgia Leigh Ogden, also known as Gee by her friends and family, was involved in a fatal car crash in Astbury, Cheshire. Georgia was the rear seat passenger, wearing a seatbelt in the car when the driver of the car; young and inexperienced, pulled out into the path of an oncoming HGV on 25th June 2020 (Georgia's Dad's 50th Birthday). Due to the seriousness of Georgia's head injuries, her life support was switched off and she sadly passed away, age just 17 years old on 26th June 2020, at the Royal Stoke Hospital.
Gee was a truly amazing and loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, meaning that her loss has created a huge void that can never be filled. Gee's beautiful, unique and sassy spirit touched every person she ever met; she had so much love to give and always managed to capture a room, whether it was through her dancing, singing, acting, dramatic flare or sharp wit. The world has been a more sombre place without her shine and she is missed beyond measure every day.
The Georgia Leigh Ogden Foundation was set up by Gee's family in her memory and aims to help local charities in the Cheshire and Staffordshire areas, particularly charities for children and young people. The primary goal of the foundation is to help better the lives of those in need, which is something that Gee would undoubtedly approve of. Gee's kind and loving nature will live on through this foundation and the individuals whom it will help.
We hope something positive can come out of this absolutely tragic and heartbreaking situation.
