Jordans Journey

After 9/11/2001 Jordan felt compelled to enlist in the Army to serve his country, which he did extremely well, serving in Korea and Iraq. On 9/11/2008, Jordan made the decision to re-enlist and continue on with his future. One more time, in 2013 Jordan again re-enlisted, proving his love of country and the desire to protect her. I will always be eternally grateful and proud of my son for his commitment to keeping us all safe, no matter what the cost.
For those that don't know Jordans story:
Sgt Jordan Adams returned home December 17th 2013 on military leave from Korea. Early Saturday morning December 21st he was in a traumatic single car crash that sent him to the emergency room. Jordan broke both femurs, bruised both lungs, has multiple facial fractures, has a severe brain injury, and has been on a ventilator since. He's has been in a coma since the time he arrived. Jordan had surgery on Sunday December 22nd to place posts and plates in his legs, on Monday, they placed four plates in his face, had a tracheotomy surgery to move the ventilator from his mouth to his neck on Friday the 27th so he is more comfortable. His body is healing and with that he's looking good. His brain injury is undetermined until he wakes from his coma, which is essentially up to him.
Currently as of March 2015, Jordan is still in a minimally concious state and cannot communicate. He is starting to respond to commands for movement. Follow along at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Jordans-Journey/1392064321044382?fref=nf#!/pages/Jordans-Journey/1392064321044382
As many of you are wanting to help with Jordans recovery and our ability to bring him home, we have set up this account to collect funds for that purpose. Thank you all so much, our family is truly blessed to have each one of you in our lives. Like someone told me, Jordans not just our son or brother anymore, he's all of yours too!
