Writer Needs New Laptop!
Donation protected
I will keep this as short as I can. In summary: I’m a writer. I write diverse, inclusive fantasy and magical realism. I need a new laptop.
(that’s my face. see. I’ve got one.)
We are paycheck-to-paycheck, with only my part time income as of now. It’s enough to get us by but we can’t drop $$$ on a new laptop.
We technically have two laptops but they’re both older models and right now, my partner (aspiring performance psychologist) rigs them both together to get enough processing power to video capture and record his gameplay analysises. He always says I can kick him off but that fills me with guilt. (My work is no less important than his work.) I would work around him, but with my various illnesses, my inspiration and ability are not really...schedule-able? You feel?
It would alleviate a lot of day to day stress if I could get a dedicated writing laptop. If you have a few dollars to spare, you’d be helping a queer, female writer write queer, feminist stories. I also book blog, in conjunction with my library job. You can check me out at penpapersalt.wordpress.com.
A huge, huge, overwhelming thank you to anyone who donates. I know your dollars are valuable. It means a lot.
