Treatment for Tabby

I don't know where to start- I guess the beginning. I was encouraged by a close friend to go to the doctor for a Pap smear, which I did. Within just a few short weeks, what first felt like nothing, had quickly changed into a life changing diagnosis- Cervical Cancer. I was a mess, I was confused, I was clueless as to what any of that meant, and I thought that I was truly going to die. I joined a few support groups online and after off and on depression, I pulled myself out by educating myself, by leaning on my friends and family, and by opening up to the Facebook community.

I am about to enter the challenging leg of this journey as I have surgery to reposition my hormone makers and then begin 5 weeks of chemo-radiation. I have maintained most medical costs up until this point and am on payment plans for the more recent visits, however, I will be responsible for the co-insurance related to the upcoming treatments. Cost of Radiation & Chemo alone will be around $13k-$14k, which of course does not include all the hidden costs they tend to leave out (i.e. anesthesia, additional meds, hospital stays, etc). Please understand that I am not trying to raise the full amount, as I only have to pay about 20% of the total cost, I just need help to cover what my credit card cannot.

I understand it is hard times for a lot of you, so I understand if a donation is not possible. I appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read through this post and to all of you who continue to support me and reach out, because aside from debt/financial burden, maintaining my emotional wealth is equally as important and the Facebook community has helped me to keep that part strong.
