TRI-ing for a Cure

As many of you know, my mom recently lost her battle with stomach cancer after just 5 months. Stomach cancer is the fourth most common cancer worldwide and the second leading cause of cancer deaths. Though incidence has increased in recent years, there are still limited treatment options available. The "No Stomach for Cancer Foundation" supports research and unites those who have been affected by stomach cancer worldwide.

This September, myself and three of my closest friends will be participating in our first triathlon on behalf of the organization. We hope that by participating on behalf of "No Stomach for Cancer", we can spread awareness about a disease that affects so many.
