Aubrey's service dog!

I am a single mother that does everything in her power to provide the daily necessities without asking for assistance, but I am In need of help. My daughter, Aubrey, needs a service dog to assisted her in the daily activities. On the outside, Aubrey looks healthy and happy, but inside she is trying so hard to just survive in the outside world.

Aubrey has been diagnosed with Autism. The service dog will provide our family with help and hope. This dog will be trained to perform tasks for Aubrey like help with her physical, social, emotional, and/or cognitive functioning. The dog will also help Aubrey with just simple everyday tasks that are easy for everyone else but is hard for her to function in the outside world.

With the help of her service dog, Aubrey will learn how to recognize signs of emotions, stop Aubrey from stimming, help with her meltdowns and interrupt them before they happen. Her dog will help her manage her sensory discomfort from situations that overwhelm her, such as crowds, loud places and waiting in line. Her dog will help her calm her anxiety and she can go out in public places without being so overwhelmed. With the help of her dog, she will be able to sleep on her own and sleep through the night. We hope the dog will also help with the food anxiety she has and will be able to eat food with no issues.

Having a child with Autsim is emotionally draining, especially when her erratic behavior is unpredictable and frequent. Aubrey service dog will help reduce this stress by providing constant comfort to her. This dog will be her four-legged angel/guardian. I am asking for some help to cover a portion of the overall cost of $32,000. As a single mother, I am very grateful for all my friends, family, community and strangers to help bring Aubrey’s service dog home to her. Thank you!
