Hugs Not Walls #11

On November 2, 2024, Border Network for Human Rights will have its 11th event called #HugsNotWalls, where families from USA and Mexico that had not seen each other in many years due to the broken immigration system will be reunited for 3 minutes down in the Rio Grand; they will have the opportunity to see their nephews, their grandchildren, their brothers, their parents, their husbands, etc., and take pictures, and videos of each other for the first time ever!

BNHR encourages you to join the struggle, do the right thing, and not look the other way when our neighbors need us the most. Let's be grateful we are not in their situation. Let's be thankful that we still live in a country with freedom and values, values that we need to fight for, values that are fading away little by little every time we allow the inhumane treatment of women and children towards families pursuing their happiness, a human right that we claim, but at the same time, we as a country, deny to the Latino immigrants.
