Urgent Help Needed for My Mom

I am reaching out to share a distressing incident that occurred with my mother, Ruth Ann Shimoi, on Friday, July 28th. Unfortunately, she fell victim to an internet scam that has left her in a dire financial situation.

On that day, my mom's computer suddenly displayed a blue screen, claiming that her system had been hacked. In a state of panic, she followed the instructions and called a number provided on the screen. The person on the other end convinced her that her bank accounts were compromised and that her money was in imminent danger. Tragically, she was persuaded to withdraw all of her savings and checking money from the bank and deposit it into a Bitcoin machine, under the belief that this was the safest way to protect her funds.

As a result of this scam, my mom is now facing severe financial hardship. She no longer has the means to cover her rent or car expenses. As many of you know, she has always been the first to help others in need, works to always make sure people in need are cared for, and goes above and beyond for me, and I am truly grateful for everything she has done for me.

I am humbly requesting your assistance in any way possible.
