Moms cremation
Donation protected
Hello everyone.
I’m reaching out today to ask for help. My mom decided last Thursday that she wanted to enter hospice care to keep her comfortable for the rest of her days. Sadly yesterday at 10:58 in the morning my mom passed into the arms of Jesus. She was surrounded by people she loves and was comfortable in her own home.
My mom was a strong woman. She was kind and so full of love. She was a woman of God. My mom lived her life by a motto that she learned from her mom, and that she passed down to me. “There’s always room for one more at the table”.
She was always willing to help those around her even if she too was struggling. One of her favorite things to do would be to buy candy for all the little kids that came into the party store where she worked. She always had a warm smile and a kind shoulder to cry on.
She also had this amazing knack where anywhere we went my whole life she could strike a conversation up with anyone. She always seemed to know someone everywhere we went too. It was amazing all the friends she had made over the years.
My mom fought and beat stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, then later was diagnosed with lung cancer. She fought a good fight for a total of three rounds of chemo, and two rounds or radiation. The strength she showed through every up and down was amazing. I hope to be like her one day.
Sadly my moms good fight left her disabled and unable to work, and she had no life insurance. I was hoping I would have enough time to get the money together so I could give her the after-life care she deserves. She only wanted to be cremated and put into a nice urn so she could sit at home with my dad (who is also cremated) and their 2 favorite dogs that they had in what would’ve been 32 years together.
Any help you can give would be appreciated. I know a lot of people in the world are struggling so that makes the kindness that much greater.
I hope we can all in her memory introduce a little more love into the world and always remember that “there’s room for one more at the table”. Thank you all and God bless you.
