Hello. My name is Amanda and I am fund raising to help get us home. Well on vacation visiting my daughter and grandchildren.

My son, boyfriend, and myself decided to go kayaking in skagit bay. It was such a beautiful day. The water was like glass

It Seems like The perfect opportunity. It actually was A beautiful day We had a wonderful time and kayak all the way to hope Island. We had a beautiful time And made some great memories took a lot of pictures and we decided it was time to go Back. That's when all the trouble started.

It first started with Steve, my boyfriend. He lost his Paddle, and also his kayak got a small crack and started taking on water.

It wasn't long before he Had flipped over and was in the Freezing water. As I was trying to help him.

Because his feet were still stuck in the kayak. I ended up flipping out of my Kayak also. As if it wasn't bad enough being in that freezing water, it wasn't till we were rescued by the coast guard. We had realized all of our keys my wallet, Cash and phone were gone. We are very lucky and grateful to be alive. But now we're searching for funds to sustain our journey home thank you for any assistance that you can and remember God is good
