Dedicated to Dante

Tax deductible
This past summer 1 year old Dante Caetano wasn’t feeling well so his parents took him to the doctor.  Still in the midst of a pandemic, he was sent home with antibiotics along with his pediatrician’s orders to rest and follow up if Dante wasn’t feeling better.   Within 24 hours he became gravely ill and his parents rushed him to the E.R. where they discovered he had contracted a rare form of Strep A that caused septic shock to his little body.   His parents were faced with the horrific news that in order to save Dante’s life, both his hands and feet would need to be amputated.

Ever the warrior, Dante is on the path to recovery from this rare disease but faces a long road ahead as he and his family navigate his future that will include prosthetics, and potentially more surgeries and home modifications.

Dante’s dad, Raphael, is the Head Chef at the Corrib Pub in Brighton and the Bligh family has decided to host a “Dedicated to Dante” Kick-off during the Breeder’s Cup on Saturday, November 6 with entertainment donated by Eddie Scheer’s TuesdayNight All-Stars along with raffle prizes.

Want to join us in making a difference in Dante's life but can't join us in person on November 6?  Please consider making a contribution to the Corrib Charity Fund Inc, and any donation will go directly to help Dante.  Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that will mean so much to Dante's family!!
