A group of retired ladies sew weighted blankets for children with autism in Rogers County, Oklahoma. They donate their time and materials except for the weighted poly pellets that weight the blanket. These weighted blankets help children with Autism relax and be calm. One bag of poly pellets costs approximately $75 and will make 3 lap blankets.
