Mind UK fundraising in memory of Emyr James

It is with the greatest of sadness that another close friend of mine, Emyr, recently took his own life after a long battle with his mental health.

One of the last conversations I had with Emyr was about how he is enjoying his running again. On April 27th, I’ll be running my first ever marathon, having been lucky enough to secure a ballot place in the London Marathon. I want to dedicate this run to Emyr, but also in memory of Joel and Sam, who we lost far too soon. I will be running for Mind UK, a charity that supports those facing mental health challenges.
