Fight for Gray!

Hi there - this is Ed and Anna, Will's Best Friend and future Wife-To-Be reaching out about a dire situation that has quickly unraveled within the last month for the Hurds.

On Friday October 20th tragedy struck the Hurd household when they took their Dad in for a routine check-up after noticing a few 'forgetful' and 'clumsy' symptoms around the house.

Fast forward a few days later and it was determined Gray Hurd (Husband to Carrie Hurd, and Father to Will and Laura Hurd) has 13 tumors in his brain, swelling, and bleeding - compressing against his skull and impacting his cognitive, physical and mental abilities.

After 4 stressful weeks in the hospital taking biopsies, running tests, and coordinating with teams of doctors - Oncology confirmed Gray has Stage 4 Metastic Melanoma that has spread to the brain and will require sudden and immediate treatment. Surviving this sort of disease at this stage will require a miracle.

As it stands today, and after 4 weeks of fighting this aggressively growing cancer, Gray finds himself barely able to walk - taking on Whole Brain Radiation Treatment AND Chemotherapy simultaneously.
