Hi, My name is Amanda and I would like to tell you the story of an extraordinary horsewoman who is family to so many. She has done so much for the local equestrian community over the years. She gives her heart and soul to everything she does. She has rescued so many humans and horses over the years and now she needs us to rescue her.

On February 13th, 2023 Deborah suffered from a ruptured brain aneurysm and was rushed to the University of Pennsylvanian hospital for emergency life-saving medical intervention and surgery.

As her business partner, best friend and advocate, I am raising funds to keep her farm afloat while she fights for her life. Deborah established Suffolk Stables in 2010, and it has become a well-known schooling barn, IEA facility and Pony Club Riding Center in Shamong, NJ. She provides lessons for many students with our beloved schooling horses, many of whom were rescued from bad situations and given their second lives here at Suffolk, where they found their forever home, and are loved on, ridden and groomed by many amazing children and their families.

But I cannot feed Deborah's babies, and every one of these horses is her baby, if I don't have our beloved owner, instructor and trainer here to teach and generate an income! Please help us make ends meet. I am usually the silent business partner working on the paperwork in the background, but I have been thrown to the front line of primary horse care, and I do not generate an income for the farm. I will be accepting the funds on her behalf to pay for farm expenses such as hay, grain, vet bills, rent, and electricity, so she has a home to come home to (her son William also lives here), and horses to return to! I will also use the money to pay any of her medical bills, copays, deductibles, and support when she gets home. She has to recover and come home!!! She was airlifted to UPenn where she is being cared for around the clock by the neurology team. We know it will be a long road to recovery... she needs you, I need you, her family needs you. Please help keep us afloat.
