Medical and Expenses

If you’re seeing this you know just how hard it is for someone or anyone to ever ask for help.. but especially for Josh and Elizabeth.

They are the people who gives the shirts off their back, answers your call no matter the time and shows up when needed.

Unfortunately it is our time to help them after an unexpected hospital trip turned into an admission on December 11th where Josh is still at. His auto immune disorder (Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura) has returned and not as gentle as it was the first time.

Little back story : If you have been around for awhile you remember Josh being hospitalized back in 2012 where he spent over 30 days because of the first flare up and diagnosis of this. Thankfully at this time, they were able to control it via platelet treatments, transferred between hospitals to then have chemo injections and he made a full recovery where this has been in remission since then. They were told he had a 50/50 chance of this returning.

A single sign started again with bruising and pain and they knew it had returned all this time later…

This time around his body is not accepting the platelet transfers or treatments that are being tried and his numbers are dangerously low. He is currently being transferred between hospitals to establish the best care for this critical time and with a lot of doctors being off because of the holiday.

As if this diagnosis, treatment, and upcoming surgery (as of now set for Tuesday 12/26), extended hospital stay and long term of recovery is not enough to stress about and focus on; the bills are piling up. Elizabeth is trying to do all she can for pulling in work with her business while being able to be attending to their kids and support her husband.
