On August 8, 2023, our vibrant and sweet Shawn was tragically shot multiple times, including his face, neck, chest, arm, and abdomen, while innocently waiting in line at a drive-through. It was a senseless and random act of violence that has left our entire family in shock and disbelief.

Despite the unimaginable pain and fear he endured, Shawn's strength and determination continues to shine through. With sheer willpower, he managed to drive himself across the street to a nearby gas station, desperately seeking help. His quick thinking and resilience undoubtedly saved his life. Since that fateful day, Shawn has already undergone two surgeries, with another one still ahead. The road to recovery will be long and arduous, but we remain hopeful and determined to support him every step of the way.

Shawn is a remarkable individual, known for his kind-hearted nature and carefree spirit. He has always been the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him.
