Ashley's Recovery

Hi, I'm Megan a close friend of Danielle.

On Saturday 24th August Danielle's world was torn apart when Ashley, her husband, had a horrific car accident on the A5. He aqua-planed into a tree and is now in the ICU fighting for his life.

The last few days have been truly horrendous for Dani, Ashley's Family and all those that are close to the couple. They have already been through an awful time this year when Ashley's dad unfortunately lost his battle with cancer. Ashley is one tough cookie and I know you will all join me in sending thoughts, prayers and love in his direction so that he can keep fighting to pull through.

Unfortunately, practically, this is not always enough. There are lots of financial complications that are now occurring for Dani to have to face and many that we do not know that could arise in the future. Bills that need to be paid, a house to keep, cats to look after just to name a few. Dani, as many of you know is the kindest, bravest and strongest soul that I will ever and have ever met. So I am sure you can imagine that when I hear her stressed about how she is going to deal with all of this financial worry, rather than be focused on keeping strong for her husband, it broke my heart. This is why I have decided (with Dani's blessing) to set up this fundraising page, so that Dani and Ashley can focus on being strong and fighting through, not on how they can keep a roof over their heads.

I ask that if you can spare anything for this wonderful couple that you please do so. I know that in doing so, Dani and her family will be so grateful and it will help her to not feel alone in this awful thing that she is having to navigate.
