A New Car for a Struggling Artist

Hey guys. I've tried everything I can think of to get help with this. Ultimately, I have lost the fight.
On Thursday, April 15th, an unidentified, uninsured driver hit the rear end of my legally parked vehicle at full force and totaled it. Because I was underinsured for property damage specifically, no one was able to help.
I am barely making ends meet in LA. I know I am not the most likely candidate to be in need of financial help. But this situation is out of my hands, and I spent well over half of my savings on that car to get here.
If you know me, you know how much I hate that I have to do this. Especially over something as trivial as a car. But knowing me, you also know that I am not well off. This will not be an easy fix for me. I know it has been a difficult year for all of us. I'm hoping this is the last of my misfortunes for awhile. All of ours.
