Chiapas Mexico Missions Trip

Ever since Alexis was in first grade she has told me that she is going to be a missionay.  She sat in the back seat of the car and said, "mommy I want to be a missionary." Right at that moment my heart sank. Not because of what she wanted to be, but because I was going to have to let her go into the Hands of God.  As I sat there and listened to my daughters sweet voice tell me that she wanted to spread God's love I heard the Lord say, "let her go she was never yours to keep anyway!"  Now she is 12 going on 13 and her passion and hearts desire to be a missionary has grown deeper.  In the past two years when people pray over her they have a word for her and it is always the same.   They tell her, "Alexis you are going to go out into the world and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ!"  Many missions trips have come up at our church and everytime Alexis asks if we can go.  Jimmy and I always say no not now, we don't have the money or time off of work. Not this time! I heard the Lord speak to my heart that this was the trip for Alexis and I. Just in the matter of 2 days God has opened doors that I never even saw! I feel beyond blessed and my heart is overflowing with Joy.  Alexis is going to experience a Missions trip. Missions is a part of our hertiage. My grandparents her great grandparents were missionaries in the Jungles of Bolivia and in Panama. I know my Nana would be so proud of her Great Granddaughter. Thank you so much for your support and love for us! You are a part of making a diffrence in this world.
