The Nix Family

Sophie and Jonas Nix, and their three boys, are a precious family, known and loved by so many in the community. They have fallen on one hard time after another and we want to help offset some of the financial burden that they face. Last year, they noticed that they were all getting sick, and staying sick, month after month. Their home had mold issues, made worse after an incomplete remediation, and mold was rapidly circulating through their air vents, causing pneumonia and constant sickness. Their middle son has developed severe asthma and has been hospitalized twice this year after emergency visits! Sophie has pneumonia, currently; the third time in four months. They have moved their whole family in with her parents indefinitely. They have the massive expense of having the mold properly remediated (from a home they can no longer occupy) and will have to sell because the health risk is too great. The medical bills they have incurred have become a burden as well. We set a goal of $50,000 because right now, that's the minimum they will owe.
