Dear Friends,
Though we realize that it’s best for everyone’s safety having to temporarily close our doors, it breaks our hearts. Nothing hurts more than having our incredible staff be out of work. Anyone who has been to da Umberto knows that we are a family. We also think of our customers as family and we are deeply moved by how many of you have reached out to offer support. In response to that and the fact that our staff desperately could use the help, we have started the da Umberto Family Fund. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to our wonderful staff family and be split evenly amongst all 28 cooks, food preppers, porters, bussers, wait staff, bartenders, hostess and Manager. Anything you can give will help- it all goes a long way. We are very grateful and appreciative. Every employee will have their job waiting for them the moment we are allowed to reopen.
We have weathered many storms in our 33 years of business and together, we will get through this one as well. We can’t wait to welcome back our da Umberto community and in the meantime... cook, love and stay safe!
