My husband and I spent Christmas in southern WV. While out for a walk in the warm weather, we came across a little dog that was hobbling around an abandoned house. His back, right leg is completely drawn up next to his body, and appears to be completely non-functional. The neighbors in the area informed us he has been in the state for the past several years (yes, years). He has been surviving by eating food that a local woman leaves out for the neighborhood cats. The closest thing he has to a current owner is the man who lives in the house where his previous owner lived before he passed away. He, along with the other people on the area, told us he really has nobody to take care of him, and to take him if we could get his leg fixed. So, we are taking the little pooch (now named Buster because of his busted leg), back home with us to be seen by my vet and to start a better life. Any donations are appreciated and will go directly to his medical bills. If you would like to donate but would feel more comfortable sending it directly to his vet, he will be getting treated at
Anderson Veterinary Clinic in Christiana, TN. Just tell them it's for Amanda Hall's account (in addition to Buster, the account also has my dogs Baxter and Taz on it).
Thanks for helping get this little guy fixed up!
