Help my Dad stay alive!!

My Dad is fighting Acute Myeloid Leukemia.  He has undergone more than six rounds of chemotherapy and is now preparing for a trip to Seattle, Washington for a stem cell transplant.  He traveled to Seattle this past week with Mom to meet the doctors and staff at the Puget Sound VA Medical Center's Bone Marrow Unit.  The news from the director (Dr. Dan Chauncey) was not positive.  Because of Dad's age his chance of survival are not that good.  But his chance of living without the procedure is worse.  Dad thought he would be in Seattle for about four months, but it turns out it will be more like 17 to 19 months.  This of course will be extremely expensive.  The cost of food, transportation and other necessities are going to be high.  That is why I put my Dad on the 'Go Fund Me' sight. 
  My Dad lives on Social Security and these added expenses are way more than he ever expected.  Dad entertained Central New Yorkers for years and now he needs your help.  If you are a friend of my Dad, or maybe just a loyal listener, could you please help?  I don't want to lose my Dad before he gets to see his first grandchild.  Thanks to those who have already given, and hopefully those of you who call my Dad a friend will step up as well.  God Bless.
